Took us about three hours to get it done, but it was easy overall. Nothing too crazy, just took a bit of time. Not bad at all, lol.

"Nice playset, but kind of a lot to keep up with"
We got a Backyard Discovery playset and, at least at first, it looked really nice in the yard. The kids were excited and used it a lot, so I can’t really say it was a bad purchase.

That said, I guess I didn’t realize how much upkeep it would need. After some rain and sun, the wood started looking worn faster than I expected, and we had to seal it soon. A few bolts also needed tightening more than once. It’s fine overall, probably, but for the price I thought it would be a little less work

"Exactly what I expected"
I just got this recently, so maybe I’m still in that “new purchase” excitement phase, but everything looks just like it did on the site. The size, color, and little details were all accurate, and the instructions matched the description too. No weird surprises when it showed up, which I really appreciate. So far, I’m really happy with it.

"Easy to find the replacement part I needed"
I needed a replacement piece for our backyard set, i was expecting it to be a hassle. But I went to Backyard Discovery, found the part quickly, and the whole process was straightforward from there. I didn’t have to spend a bunch of time guessing if it was the right piece, which was a relief. The order went through easily and it arrived in good shape. Based on my experience, it’s really nice that they actually offer replacement parts instead of making you feel like you need to buy a whole new set.

"Looks nice, but wasn’t as fun as we expected"
My kids were really excited about this playset at first, and for the first few days they played on it nonstop. But quickly they got bored with it. It looks nice in the yard, but there just isn’t as much to do as I thought there would be. I’ll also say the website kind of made it seem like it had more features or would keep them entertained longer, so that was a little confusing once we actually had it set up. For the price, I expected them to use it a lot more. It’s not awful, just a bit disappointing.

"Pretty easy to put together"
I was expecting assembly to be a lot more frustrating, but it went smoothly. The parts were labeled well and the instructions were easy to follow. My brother helped me with it, and it took us most of the afternoon, but we didn’t run into any major problems. Overall, I’m really happy with how simple it was

"Looked good at first, but what a joke"
It looked really nice when I first got it, so I had high hopes. But after just two storms, the wood already started warping. What a joke. I definitely expected it to hold up a lot longer than that.

"We just got our Backyard Discovery set…"
We just got our Backyard Discovery set up last month, so it’s still new for us, but my first impression has been really positive. Safety was the big thing I was worried about, and so far it feels sturdy with no shaking or loose spots when the kids are climbing and playing on it. The instructions made the anchors and bolts easy to understand too, which was a relief. I still give it a quick check here and there since it’s only been a few weeks, but right now I feel good letting the kids use it. Happy with it so far.

"The product itself is okay, nothing…"
The product itself is okay, nothing amazing but it does the job. My issue was with customer service. I had a simple question about some missing parts and had to wait days between replies, which got annoying fast. If they answered sooner, the whole experience would’ve been a lot better. Anyway.

We got a Backyard Discovery playset, it’s been better than I was expecting. The wood feels sturdy, the pieces lined up well, and nothing really seemed cheap while we were putting it together. It did take a while to build, but I kind of figured that would be the case. The kids have been climbing all over it for a few weeks now, and it still feels really solid. Overall, I’d say we’re very happy with it

I was a little worried we’d be missing a screw or bolt because there were so many parts, but everything was right there in the boxes. The bags were labeled clearly, and we didn’t have to make a single last-minute trip to the store. It made the whole build so much less stressful than I expected!

"Shop Around Before You Overpay"
Just a heads up for anyone looking at these sets—definitely check a few places before buying. I almost paid more somewhere else, but Backyard Discovery had basically the same kind of set for less. Delivery went smoothly too, so no complaints there. I’m happy with what I paid, but don’t skip comparing prices first.

I thought the design looked really cute on the site, but once I got it, it felt kinda bulky, not as clean as I expected. A few parts just don’t line up right visually, so for the price... it comes off a little cheap.
